Horses show promise

Today was a good day in the yard. I spent the morning schooling the horses for the show in Limerick next Saturday. All the horses jumped well and look in good form for the weekend.

Spent the afternoon teaching students Siobhán and Erin. Siobhán's horse is at the beginning of her jumping career and improved a lot since our last school. Erin's pony is continuing to improve every day we school him.

After this i rode Larry. He is being broken at the moment and today was very good as he is now walking correctly and on the bit, and his trot is improving every day. Very happy with his attitude to being ridden as he was nervous at the start, he is now a lot more relaxed.

We finished the yard on time, all the horses were fed by 5 o' clock. I drove to Killarney for the evening to my girlfriend Martha. I helped her school her horse Caprice for the show on Saturday and it went very well. After, we went for a walk around the fields with her horses before finishing for the evening.
